Neukirchenstraße 1, Osterwieck

When combined, blue and yellow produce vibrant and cheerful colors. This contrasting combination is visible on the facade at Neukirchenstraße 1, a three-story half-timbered house in Osterwieck, Germany.

The wall panels are decked with blue and yellow fan rosettes. A fan rosette is a decorative wood carving characterized by its fan-like shape.

Aside from the fan rosettes, a cross-arch frieze adorns the facade. A cross-arch frieze is a decorative horizontal band where arches overlap each other. These arches are either painted or sculptured.

Both the door and the driveway have a chevron pattern. A chevron pattern forms a series of inverted V-shapes.
