Vorstadttor, Prichsenstadt

The former suburban part of the medieval town of Prichsenstadt, Germany, is flanked by two round towers called Vorstadttor or West Gate. These towers, built between 1584 and 1587, are made of rubble stones and have tiled pointed roofs that are slightly different from each other.

Arched frieze

Also, there is a narrow passage connecting the towers.

Arched frieze, a Medieval decorative strip that consists of semi-circular arches lined up one after the other, laces up the narrow passage connecting the two round towers.
